Karina Vasquez founded KVasquez Law to offer clients something most large firms don't: direct, experienced counsel without the overhead. Karina advises individuals and families on estate plans that protect what they've built. She guides business owners through tax strategy and corporate matters with a practical, forward-thinking approach. And she does all of it in both English and Spanish, because the right advice shouldn't depend on the language you think in.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a Miami tax attorney for IRS or state tax issues?
Not every tax matter requires an attorney, but when you're facing an IRS audit, a tax dispute, or significant planning decisions, having legal counsel can protect you in ways a CPA alone cannot. Attorney-client privilege applies to your communications with KVasquez Law, it doesn't apply to your accountant.
What does an estate plan usually include?
A complete estate plan typically includes a will, one or more trusts, a durable power of attorney, and a healthcare directive. The right combination depends on your family structure, assets, and goals. KVasquez Law builds plans around your situation specifically.
Do you work with business owners as well as individuals?
Yes. Many clients come to KVasquez Law with both personal and business legal needs. Karina advises on business formation, contracts, tax planning, and the intersection between your business interests and personal estate.
Do you offer consultations by appointment?
Yes. All consultations at KVasquez Law are by appointment only. This keeps your meeting private, focused, and worth your time.
Do you provide legal services in Spanish?
Yes. Attorney Karina Vasquez provides full legal counsel in both English and Spanish. If you're more comfortable discussing your legal matter in Spanish, that's exactly how we'll work.

What to Do If You Receive an IRS Audit Notice
Receiving an IRS audit notice can feel overwhelming. Here is what it actually means, what your rights are, and the steps to take before responding.

Why Every Florida Resident Needs an Estate Plan
Many people assume estate planning is only for the wealthy. The truth is that without a plan in place, Florida law decides what happens to your assets and your family.

The Difference Between Tax Avoidance and Tax Evasion
One is a legal strategy. The other is a federal crime. Understanding the line between the two is essential for every individual and business owner managing taxes in Miami.
